10018 Senior Treasury Analyst, Capital Markets Job

Location: Southeast (AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC & TN)
Salary Range: 70,000 - 80,000
Total Compensation: 75,000 - 85,000
Job Description: This position assists the Director of Capital Markets in managing the finance functions of the Company, including negotiating financing agreements, managing interest expense and analyzing financial risk exposures. This is a dynamic and diverse position in the treasury department with tremendous opportunity for growth. • He/She will be a key contributing member of the team working on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of all financing agreements including bank financing, public debt and equity market transactions, leases, export credit financing, ECA guarantees and financial guarantees. • He/She will participate in developing strategies and analysis surrounding management of interest rate exposure. • Sr. Treasury Analyst will work with Accounting to ensure proper recording of all debt related transactions and will also be responsible for debt covenant compliance process. • He/She will be responsible of the preparation of rating agency and lender presentations and financial ratio analysis as well as monitor shipyard financial condition and compliance under financing documents and make recommendations for actions to be taken. • He/She will review and provide information required for quarterly SEC filings. • Sr. Treasury Analyst position will manage letters of credit, bonds and parent company guarantees. • He/She will interact closely with the other areas within Treasury and will cross train with the other Sr. Treasury Analysts to learn the major treasury competencies. • Sr. Treasury Analyst will also interact with Accounting and Corporate Planning as well as internal and external auditors and internal and external legal counsel.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor's, None, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: • BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics, MBA preferred, from an accredited college / university. • A CPA/CTP/CCM is a plus. • He/She must have three to five (3-5) years treasury, corporate finance, or banking experience required. • Knowledge of derivatives transactions and accounting a plus. • Must have good written and oral communication skills. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Must have experience navigating the Internet and functional use of Bloomberg system. • Familiarity with Reval a plus.
