10314 Dealer Finance Manager Job

Location: NY-Other  
Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA & WV)
Salary Range: 100,000 - 120,000
Total Compensation: 110,000 - 125,000
Job Description: Summary: Manages the dealer lease and indirect lending departments. Origination and approval of new and used consumer loans and leases. Responsible for credit quality and attainment of budget volumes and department profitability. Manages the disposal of lease vehicle returns and manages the lease loss budget. Responsible for the processing and booking of the aforementioned lease and loans. Develops new programs as needed to meet profitability and volume goals. Responsibilities: • Develop new lease and indirect loans to meet annual budget. • Approve indirect loans and leases as required to meet department goals. • Sell lease vehicles promptly at budget levels to maintain lease loss reserve and limit losses. • Monitor credit quality to meet charge off budget in lease and indirect loans. • Maintain loan efficiencies on the lease and indirect products-book to look, loan size and tiered pricing. • Manages Indirect and Leasing personnel and participates in business development activities. Train, mentor, develop and oversee staff. Conduct annual reviews and establish individual goals. • Maintain pricing models and price products to meet bank volume and quality goals • Develop budgets to meet the goals of the division and bank. • On occasion is required to attend auction in order to obtain the maximum value on the disposition of bank assets.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor's, None, FINRA Registered Rep - Series 22
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications: • 15 years management experience in Indirect Lending, Leasing Underwriting. • Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience • Underwriting experience • Business Development and Sales • Complete understanding of the Bank’s Indirect Lending loan policies, products and procedures. • Banking regulations for both NY and PA as related to Indirect Financing • Complete understanding of the Leasing application system. • Knowledge and ability to apply performance management. • Underwriting knowledge, judgment reasoning, comfortable with tax return review and interpreting credit report information • Strong Computer and Math skills • Understanding of Lease vehicle sales and pricing strategy • Full understanding of dealer automotive leasing and lease accounting • Harland Decision System • FiServ CBS
