| Job Description: |
General Focus: • Oversee group workflow for assigned plans. • Ensure consistently effective client communication. • Complete and review annual testing and reports for assigned plans. • Help train new employees. This includes teaching classes for the ASPPA RPF exam. • Maintains proficiency with regulatory developments. • Establish a specialty area for which person assumes primary responsibility: 1) Develop training materials and resources for other company employees. 2) Develop and deliver materials that update clients about regulatory changes. 3) Assist Sales develop plan designs for prospective clients. 4) Assure that company systems and forms are modified to reflect changes in regulatory requirements. Essential Duties: • Client Communication • Maintain proficiency in regulatory requirements • Provide training and materials for other employees in area of specialty • Completion, Review and analyze Discrimination testing • Completion, Review and analyze Year-end Allocations • Completion and Review of annual 5500 and assure timely filing • Review new plan set up • Oversee Plan Exits and work with new recordkeepers • Assure that plans assigned remain in compliance • Oversee work of Account Representatives/Plan Consultants assigned to their group |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Associate's, Accredited Asset Management Specialist|Qualified 401(k) Pension Administrator|Qualified Pension Administrator, None |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Education/ Training: 1) Minimum of two year degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience). 2) Must have successfully completed ASPPA Certification Program (QKA, QPA). |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
1) Skills: Good Customer Service Skills, Good analytical skills. 2) Experience: Knowledge of Pension Law. |
