10461 Credit Portfolio Manager Job

Location: Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA & WV)
Salary Range: 100,000 - 120,000
Total Compensation: 110,000 - 130,000
Job Description: Summary: Manages the national unsecured patient, tuition, dental, equipment and education portfolio. Responsible for credit quality and attainment of budget volumes and department profitability. Oversees and manages all aspects of the third party relationship. Evaluates loan applications and assesses the credit worthiness of applicants. Executes administrative control over compliance and operations. Responsibilities: • Manage the Springstone portfolio; act as senior underwriter and point person for the day to day underwriting and operational issues. Underwrite unsecured indirect tuition, dental, medical and education loan requests. Manage the third party relationship with Springstone. • Monitor credit quality to meet established qualitative and quantitative thresholds. • Assist in the development and implementation of the third party delivery, including evaluation of key ratios such as look to book, approve to book and turnaround time. Rate and program comparisons of the competition monthly. Recommend program enhancements as necessary. • Assists in development of solutions relative to work flow improvement and policy • Must ensure adherence with Bank’s Loan Audit, Loan Review OCC, Customer and Shareholder policy and procedures, compliance, Sarbanes Oxley and State and Federal expectations, regulations in multiple state environment.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor's, None, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Requirements: • Complete understanding of Indirect Lending loan policy, products and procedures. • Portfolio management • Banking regulations related to unsecured lending with a national footprint • Knowledge and ability to apply performance review management. • Knowledge of the Indirect environment; Dealer reserve , Negotiating, Third party relationship management • Strong Computer and Communication skills • Communication Skills • Basic Accounting • 4 Year College degree or equivalent education and experience • 5-10 years experience in Indirect Lending and or education/tuition/medical financing. • 2-5 years experience in underwriter with acceptable performance • 2-5 years Supervisory experience
