| Job Description: |
VP Finance has been given two years to find his replacement as part of a global leadership development program. Join profitable and expanding $60M SBU of a worldwide leader and be empowered to influence growth strategies and contribute to initiatives to improve business efficiencies and success. Be a business partner to North American manufacturing, supply chain, and sales organization. Managed accounting staff and be responsible for all reporting and accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, monthly closing, tax/audit issues, and financial variance analysis and planning. Partner across all business segments and externally with customers, auditors, tax authorities, and suppliers. Participate on accounting projects with international operations. Consult with operations and sales leaders to understand the impact of decisions on company finances from product development through full manufacturing and supply chain cycles to end customer. Coordinate annual budget and prepare short term forecasts and key performance metrics. Participate in acquisition due diligence and integration activities. Analyze monthly financial performance including analyzing spending and efficiency; provide continuing insight into operations through financial analysis. Review standard cost system and participate on lean manufacturing (Kaizen) events to reduce costs, improve inventory turns, and increase operational efficiency. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS in Accounting required; MBA, CPA or CMA wanted. Seek 7+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years as a Assistant Controller, Controller, or Operational Accounting Manager in a world class manufacturing setting. Must have the ability to partner with management to drive financial performance. Must be hands-on and willing to bear hug all of accounting. |

Experience with Six Sigma or lean manufacturing is a biig plus. |
