Assistant Vice President of Marketing Our client, a well-known leader in the group and individual insurance benefits world, has an immediate opening for a strategic marketing leader. This is an exciting time for a number of reasons: 1) With all of the changes in the insurance industry, there will be lots of opportunities to get the message out; 2) With the possibility of coverage requirements, it will be imperative for the company to understand what and how they need to communicate to their key constituents; and 3) this is a NEW ROLE to the organization, and will be very strategic & high-profile. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
The ideal candidate: · Will have 10+ years experience in Strategy, and Product & Marketing Management · Will be able to work effectively at the strategic level, BUT also be able to swoop down from 30,000 feet to drive execution · Will operate as a value-added and collaborative team player in a company with a great culture and rich heritage · Will have the experience and fortitude to develop new processes, markets and products in an established organization · Will be an impact player in a measurement culture Requirements: · Bachelors required, Masters preferred · 10+ years experience, with the bulk of that being in Insurance or Financial Services recently · 3-5 years in leadership roles · Demonstrated success in leadership and associate development · Demonstrated success in driving results Position is located in Midwest metropolitan.
