10635 Managed Investments Sales Consultant Job

Location: IL-Naperville   South of Chicago
Lower Midwest (IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MO, NE & OH)
Salary Range: 80,000 - 80,000
Total Compensation: 180,000 - 280,000
Job Description: Summary: Generate sales revenue for Trust & Investment Department by focusing majority of daily activities on making outside sales calls to attorneys, CPAs, investment consultants, financial planners, and others. Specific Duties: • Generate sales revenue by focusing majority of daily activities on outside personal sales calls to attorneys, CPAs and investment consultants. • Manage a client portfolio of 200+ client relationships consisting of personal trust and employee benefit accounts. • Manage a book of relationships including all new relationships sold by incumbent. • Work with trust sales manager to develop sales/service strategies that will attract new trust clients and expand existing trust relationships. • Develop and expand Center of Influence (COI) referral network in order to sell company trust products whenever possible through COI client base. • Act as representative with COI network for all company financial services. • Assume administrative responsibility for a select group of accounts. • Meet with clients for the purpose of discussing their needs and benefits of firm’s services, expansion of client relationships, and investment performance review. • Achieve annual negotiated performance standards. • Monitor account activity and portfolio mix to ensure that established investment guidelines are consistently met. • Assist colleagues as needed with knowledge and insight as to various trust topics.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, Certified/Chartered Financial Planner, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. • 7-10 years previous sales and client relationship management experience within the financial services industry • Demonstrated sales and networking skills consistent with goal expectation. • Fiduciary knowledge relating to personal trusts, employee benefits and investments.
Preferred Qualifications: • CFP designation and/or portfolio management experience preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • PC literate and ability to use a trust system unaided.
