| Job Description: |
Ø Manage company-wide IFRS implementation: ü Document differences between current company accounting policies and IFRS. ü Document current accounting systems and requirements to transition to IFRS and liaise with global accounting and GL support teams. Ø Provide support to the IT team on financial reporting implementation initiatives, including IFRS. Ø Assist in maintaining Company accounting policy and procedures. Ø Monitor SEC, FASB and IFRS initiatives. Perform sensitivity analysis as to how new developments may impact the current business and financial statements. Address possible systems issues and related changes as a result of pending changes in the authoritative literature. Ø Review of derivative transactions and monthly accounting requirements. Ø Assist with Revenue Recognition policies and contract reviews. Ø Assist with due diligence for potential acquisition targets. Ø Assist with the preparation of opening balance sheets for acquired companies. Ø Responsible for on-going compliance and testing of the Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls requirements. Ø Review of internal controls over financial reporting. Ø Responsible for various ad hoc inquiries and projects. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Education/Certifications Ø BA or BS degree and CPA required. MBA is a plus but not required. Big 4 managerial experience required. Policy or National Office experience preferred. Previous exposure to IFRS is a major plus. Previous Work Experience Ø At least seven years in public accounting – experience manager or senior manager. Additional experience in accounting and reporting is preferred. Policy or project management of accounting policy implementation is a plus. Ø An ideal candidate would also have experience with IFRS either with their audit client or through first-hand experience. Ø Proven analytic abilities, written skills and strong presentation skills; able to present detailed information to every day users, senior executive management and possibly even the Audit Committee / Board of Directors. Ø Proven people skills, working successfully in team context with co-workers, and senior management. Ø Must be able to work in a self-directed manner. Ø Able to project manage and manage processes remotely. Ø Possess high attention to detail. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: This is a newly created position in a growing company. A successful candidate will be highly self-motivated and driven to perform at the peak of his or her abilities. A successful candidate must be able to work undirected. A successful candidate must be willing and able to roll up their sleeves to accomplish tasks. A successful candidate must also be proficient in Excel and Word. Flexibility, professionalism and adaptability are a must. |
