Boutique national financial advisory firm providing appraisals, financial opinions, litigation support, valuations and M&A support is seeking a leader to head up their New York office. The firm has a twenty year track record of success serving both private and public companies and their advisors. RESPONSIBILITIES Business development, with significant revenue expectations Staff supervision, development and mentoring Public speaking and publication of industry-related articles |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Master's, Certified/Chartered Financial Analyst|Chartered Financial Consultant|Certified Risk Professional|Other Certification, None |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
MBA and/or CFA; other credentials such as ASA or ABV a plus 10 to 15 years of experience in business valuation is required, with the ability to review and analyze complex business valuations; additional litigation support experience is a plus Some evidence of an entrepreneurial spirit in professional background Demonstrated leadership experience, including proven effectiveness as a mentor to staff External business development experience; if not extensive, must have relationships to cultivate in the NYC area as evidenced by current networking contacts in the industry; must be local to the Greater NY area Demonstrated success in publication and public speaking |
