| Job Description: |
Summary: Provides the overall supervision, training, mentoring and development of the credit analysts. Plays a vital role in the department’s Career Development and/or Loan Officer Development Programs. Ensures loan presentation packages and other routine operations are completed on time and as scheduled. Renders assistance to lending officers, corporate executives and legal advisors on loan details and other credit matters. Prepares loan reports for the monitoring and review of the entire portfolio. Provides support with departmental budgeting for senior management and the Board of Directors. Responsibilities: • Review loan presentation packages for the Officers Loan Committee (OLC) and the Board of Directors and act as recording secretary for the Board of Directors. • Train, mentor, develop and oversee appropriate staff. Conduct the annual review of all credit analysts. • Monitor loan presentations for policy exceptions and assist Credit Administration with revision and edits to the Commercial Loan Policy Manual. • Expand Loan Officer Development program to focus on both Commercial and Small Business future growth needs • Prepare loan reports and departmental budgeting for senior management and the Board of Directors. • Monitor the use of vendors such as credit reporting and industry data services. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and experience. • Extensive Training through Commercial Banking associates such as American Institute of Banking (AIB) or Risk Management Association (RMA). • 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lending, Credit Management or Credit Analysis. • 5 years supervisory experience • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. • High degree of accuracy and solid instructional skills • Management and Leadership skills with ability to supervise staff. |
