Salary Range: 90,000 - 125,000
Total Compensation: 90,000 - 125,000
Job Description: KEY JOB FUNCTIONS This position is within the Common Analytics Platform (CAP) organization. CAP is responsible for developing and maintaining financial analytical engines across different business divisions. The Analysis, Requirements, and Testing (ART) team provides production analytical support, develop system requirements and conduct system testing for financial systems within CAP. This position is required to actively participate multiple critical processes specified in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle standard) including but not limited to developing business requirement with business teams and research teams; translating business requirement into functional/model technical specifications; developing testing strategy, testing cases and creating baseline with analytical tools for new functions/models; executing test cases and validating system/model results; collecting and documenting testing artifacts and testing evidence. Candidate must have both strong fixed income/mortgage finance modeling experience and balanced technical skills in IT and Math. In addition, candidate must be an excellent team player with strong problem solving skills and be able to influence others without authority. The ability to meet deadline under pressure and communicating status/issues on time is also a must have. JustinBradley is an Equal Opportunity Employer
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Master's, Certified Public Accountant, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: -5+ years working experience in capital market and secondary mortgage finance industry -3+ years experience in a math/stat intensive environment -Professional programming experience with SAS or Matlab -3-5 years experience of using C++, Unix and XML -Advanced Degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Math or Computational Science -Good team player with strong problem solving skills and be able to influence others without authority -Ability to meet deadline under pressure and communicating status/issues on time
Preferred Qualifications: -Research background in Statistics/Finance/Math is preferred -CFA designation is preferred
