| Job Description: |
Fortune 1000 parent corporation that has doubled profits and revenues over last 5 years and had record revenues and profits in 2010. CFO of global platform is B&B placement who has been repeatedly promoted and wants to return the opportunity to a rising star who wants to jump start their career. Business is global, empowering, a leader in best practices, and a business partner with the best and brightest corporations globally. Platform is decentralized and matrixed, has 50+ SBUs on five continents, has revenues of $1+B, will grow 9-10% organically in 2010, and has 4 acquisitions in process. Report to CFO and communicate across all segments of the platform. Role is 30% structured and 70% special projects driven. Examples of functions would be: • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Coordinate global consolidation of monthly business area/legal entity results. Review, analyze, & ensure integrity of financial results and pro-actively highlight performance issues and trends. • Acquisitions: Participate on acquisition activity. Initially be involved in the integration activity of acquisitions in to various SBUs. By end of 2010, participate on due diligence as well. • Business Reviews: Conduct a business review of SBUs to better understand financial and operational performance to goals and business plan • Ad Hoc Projects: Examples might be to conduct ROI and business analysis associated with moving profit and cost centers from one country to another; implementing ERP software across platform and need to evaluate potential shared service gains; and participate on kaizen events to implement best practices. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS Accounting; CPA ideal. Seek 3+ years of Big 4 or national CPA training, acute business acumen, and a proactive attitude to learn, contribute, and be promotable within next 9-18 months. Must be willing to travel globally 30-40% annually (i.e. Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, India, Italy, USA). |
