10897 Acquisition Manager Job

Location: CT-Other   Milford. CT
Northeast (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI & VT)
Salary Range: 90,000 - 135,000
Total Compensation: 90,000 - 135,000
Job Description: Serve as right hand contributor to the Divisional CFO and Controller. Be responsible for providing financial analysis and strategic guidance to all JV’s, equity investments, strategic alliances, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Support FP&A leaders and liaise with President and VP, New Business Development as well as various business unit teams, Legal, Finance and Strategy. Be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, recommending all opportunities and presenting to senior management. Perform strategic and quantitative analysis, conduct due diligence, determine appropriate valuation and structure, develop strategy and conduct / support negotiations with business units. Communicate critical issues and risk factors to management. Assist all business units with post-merger integration of acquired companies. Participate in the identification of desirable acquisition or divestiture targets. Generate necessary financial analysis.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor's, Certified Public Accountant, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: BS and CPA; MBA or CPA desired. Big 4 training ideal 8+ years. Proficiency with GAAP accounting, SOX, IRFS, ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Cognos), Excel and PowerPoint. Strong finance and accounting experience including in support of operations and/or aftermarket business. Experience in analyzing strategic initiatives a plus including JVs, M&A, etc. Direct experience in operations start up also a plus. Travel up to 50% domestic and international.

Benefits: $90-135,000 plus bonus. Excellent comprehensive benefit package to include 401K, tuition, etc.
