| Job Description: |
Responsibilities: * Oversee capital projects monthly control processes with month end close (balance sheet reconciliations, accruals statements), forecasting and budgeting * Build and manage relationship with real estate business and other areas of finance – financial control, tax, sourcing, head office etc. * Advise on business decisions in support of all U.S. Real Estate projects, including modeling of leasing deals and Capex * Financial control and review of outsourced project mangers * Fixed Asset Control including managing assets under construction and impairment analysis * Assist the Capital Projects team in evaluating new project proposals, reviewing business cases and challenging assumptions * Management Information - Analysis of Premises, Corporate Services and operational expenses, month end commentaries and ad-hoc analysis to support the business and drive ownership / accountability * Financial process management and improvement * Support various initiatives to enhance cost transparency and improve the efficiency of the ledger control teams across the wider cost control department |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS: * MBA or Accounting qualification, 4-10 years relevant experience, banking experience a plus but not required. * Proven track record in Planning and Financial Analysis within a commercial/financial services environment * Self starter- able to independently analyze processes and identify areas for practical improvement. * Knowledge of real estate accounting policy – US GAAP or IFRS * Experience of working with senior management to produce business analysis |
