| Job Description: |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Research and analysis of accounting matters Setting bank accounting policy Presenting to the audit committee and Board of Directors Oversight of external auditors Involvement in strategic initiatives of the Company involving accounting matters Involvement in due diligence meetings with potential investors Taking meetings with SEC and bank regulators as necessary on accounting matters Taking meetings with key investors as necessary on accounting matters Interaction with senior executive officers of the Bank |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in bank accounting, preferably with a controller/accounting background. Minimum of 5 years applicable leadership and management experience in a banking audit function. CPA Certification required, preferably active. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field with extensive experience accepted. MBA or Masters strongly preferred. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Highly skilled in accounting, motivated and detail-focused. Solid analytical skills, excellent communication and organizational skills Strong written and oral communication skills. Superior leadership and management skills. Proficient use of personal computer; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use industry related software programs. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Strong interest in someone who has served in CFO/CAO/Controller at a bank in the past. There is a strong interest to find someone who has not only been in a large banking institution, but also been part of one of the major financial auditing firms. Examples: KPMG, PWC, E&Y, D&T, etc. |
