| Job Description: |
Ratings Quality - Participate in and co-chair rating committees and portfolio reviews - Identify credit trends monitor and report on credit risk issues, ensure robust broad thinking about credit and rating consistency across regions and sectors - Verify that tools, data and information are adequate; assess and improve monitoring practices and quality - Identify training opportunities and resource issues Methodologies - Periodically review and update methodologies create methodologies for new sectors - Lead projects building improved and consistent methodology practices - Develop guidelines as needed to assist in the application of methodology Internal Communication - Report to policy on regional regulatory/operational environment for global methodology application improvement - Challenge ratings and credit assumptions as needed - Provide guidance on policies/procedures and training to analysts and keep analysts/management informed of rating quality concerns - Contribute to Credit Policy communications External Communication -Provide ad-hoc commentary on credit and analytical issues - Interact with key market participants in media, regulatory bodies, investor s. etc |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
- Strong academic background (MSc/MBA preferred) in a Finance, Mathematical and/or Economic subject and at least 12 years experience. - Significant credit/risk assessment experience gained from a financial institution, asset manager or public accounting firm. - Understanding of complex transaction structures, with exposure to documentation review. - Strong knowledge of local markets and local market players. - Critical skills include analytical abilities, quantitative aptitude, statistical knowledge, initiative and ownership in key areas of responsibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills. |
