| Job Description: |
Our San Antonio based client is looking for an Accountant to join their team. This individual will perform the following functions: ·Be responsible for the day to day oversight of accounting including but not limited to preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements, prepare and provide management reports ,and be knowledgeable / understand proper accounting treatment ·Manage, train and develop internal accounting and bookkeeping staff. ·Review, develop, implement and monitor business and accounting processes and procedures. ·Liaison to external CPA firm ·Responsible for property tax protests on behalf of company ·Special projects as assigned (an example might include performing cost/benefit analysis on future investments) ·Experience working internationally would be a plus. Primary requirements: ·Bachelors degree in accounting or related field ·Supervisory experience ·Willingness to be hands-on and work in the day to day details as well as at a manager level ·CPA a plus but not required ·Strong technical skills |
