11261 Actuarial Director leading organization Job

Location: Connecticut  
Northeast (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI & VT)
Salary Range: 200,000 - 250,000
Total Compensation: 250,000 - 300,000
Job Description: This position is available due to a recent restructure and upgrading of the role. Position is located in the Northeast. Responsibilities in this role will include: · Provide leadership and guidance to the organization on product development and product management initiatives for the Retirement Plans SBU. · Lead, manage and develop a team of high performing actuarial associates who manage product development/management, pricing and valuation. · Guide SBU leadership on short, intermediate & long term revenue and profit expectations.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor's, None, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications: · 10 or more years experience in pricing, valuation and product development, with strong recent experience in retirement products. · Three or more years leading teams of Sr./high level actuaries and students. · Strong communications skills. · An outstanding individual contributor AND collaborative team player. · Strong powers of persuasion, and a talent for communicating complicated information to leadership in digestible and actionable forms (written and verbal).
