| Job Description: |
Report to the #1 financial leader and communicate globally with management. Be responsible for assisting in preparation of GAAP financial statements, accounting policies development and implementation, internal controls, SOX, FASB research, fixed assets, balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations and analysis. Complete actual to budget analysis of P&L. Review all accounting transactions and JE postings. Assist in management of the general ledger system. Develop expense and variance analysis. Review in detail accounting system details. Research technical accounting issues. Work with parent company and provide monthly management financial package. Maintain fixed assets and supporting software. Assist in maintaining and reconciling inventories and perform product and cost analyses. Participate on projects to improve business processes and efficiencies. Streamline the financial reporting and analysis process. Be liaison to external auditors and advisors. Staff of 2. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
B.S. in Accounting. MBA, CPA or CMA preferred. 8-10 years experience with an audit heritage. Working understanding of GAAP, tax and SOX principles. Solid working experience of Excel and an ERP system (i.e. SAP, Macola, Great Plains, JDE, MAS400) along with reporting writing tools or relational databases (i.e. business objects, crystal reports). Prior supervisory experience preferred. Experience gained in a distribution/manufacturing company desired. |
