| Job Description: |
Responsible for performing moderately complex financial analyses on budgets, cash flow, operating results and business plans to determine rates of return, capital/cash flow requirements, etc. Prepares forecasts and analysis on industry and general economic trends. May be required to work on special projects. Responsibiilties will include but are not limited to: - Performs moderately complex financial analyses. Analyzes and evaluates the company's operating results and financial position. - Analyzes options for company improvement on expenses (e.g. voice mail, office space lease, etc.). - Prepares product line profitability analyses. - May be assigned special projects as required. Assists department managers with budgeting process. - Plans, develops, prepares, inputs and maintains company's budget. Budgets include monthly, quarterly and yearly reports, and exemplifies revenues (new software sales, professional services, license renewals, user conferences) and expenses (headcount, rent, utilities, FICA, worker's compensation, travel and entertainment, etc.). - Works with department managers through the development process of each budget. - Forecasts accurate and timely cash flow projections, sales projections and expense projections. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in business or finance required - 3-5 years experience in finance or accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Working knowledge of budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes - Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, practices and procedures |
