Salary Range:

150,000 - 200,000

Total Compensation:

150,000 - 225,000

Job Description:

Directs and controls all commercial and consumer lending activities. Formulates, reviews and approves lending, appraisal, and environment policies and procedures. Works with other executives to assess overall soundness of the loan portfolio and advise on policy questions, business development, staff requirements and performance appraisals. Presents potential loans to Board of Directors. Prepares lending activity reports for Bank review for the CEO and Board of Directors. Reviews loans developed by staff for compliance with lending objectives, policies and procedures. Approves or rejects loans exceeding the credit authority of the loan officer handling the account. Maintains a commercial loan portfolio.

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications:

Must be in or around the local Washington DC market. Four-year college degree in a related field such as finance, accounting or business. Minimum of ten years experience working with commercial/consumer loans. Thorough understanding of all operations, procedures and policies related to commercial and consumer lending. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills. Proven leadership and organizational skills. Willingness to be hands on in underwriting and loan approval process. No ivory towers here, must be willing to roll up sleeves and get in the trenches.
