Seniors/Supervisors looking to exit the Big 4 or a leading regional firm? This can be your dream job! High quality role with a technical component along with a great work/life balance! Seeking an accounting professional with 2-6 years of public/private industry experience to partner with Controller, international finance and across all business segments. Be responsible for: • Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting/consolidations package and disclosures including analysis and commentary for FP&A and senior management. • Develop accounting policies for changes in U.S. GAAP • Prepare monthly closing journal entries and account analyses • Generate all intercompany, B/S and P&L account reconciliations and analysis • Complete FASB research and implement • Insure financial controls and participate in internal and external audits & SOX compliance - coordinate with Big4 • Analyze business trends that are impacting B/S and P&L • Provide internal control reviews through Statutory to US GAAP reconciliations, cash flow to net income analyses, and contract accounting reviews • Support management in developing and compiling presentations and reports for a wide variety of customers • Participate on initiatives to improve accounting processes, and conduct special projects |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS mandatory. CPA (or in process) or MBA ideal. First choice is a candidate groomed by national Big 4 or regional CPA firm. Prefer manufacturing company experience. Strong systems skills (i.e. SAP, JDE, Peoplesoft, Oracle, Hyperion Retrieve, Excel or Access). Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues. If not coming from public accounting the ideal candidate may have started their career with Ann Taylor, Barnes Group, GE, Gerber Scientific, Stanley Works, Hubbell, Unilever or Warnaco. |
