| Job Description: |
• Providing monthly reports, explanation of variances and action plans for performance improvement • Managing month-end and year-end financial closing as they relate to manufacturing operations established deadlines • Performing monthly Cost variances analysis and reporting related to gross margins, purchase price, manufacturing, work order and inventory • Completing inventory reporting package within established deadlines • Maintaining standard product cost and calculate standard cost roll-up • Assist in the development of product pricing by providing timely and accurate cost data • Administer the inventory cycle count program and the annual physical inventory count • Perform reconciliation between the ERP perpetual report and the General Ledger • Providing detailed reports and assistance to company production managers and various external auditors as required • Administer the Excess and Obsolete Inventory policy and calculate the quarterly excess and obsolete (E&O) reserve analysis. • Coordinate, prepare, and review the annual sales and operating budgets for the four divisions within the company. Maintain financial forecast models We require: • BS in Accounting; a CPA, CMA or MBA is desirable • Minimum of seven years experience in finance and accounting with at least three years of cost accounting at a manufacturing facility. • Five years experience using fully integrated ERP or integrated accounting systems. • Candidates must be Excel and MS Office “power users”. • Superior analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage tight deadlines. Able to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information effectively. • Demonstrated experience producing and presenting analysis and reporting to Senior level management. • Candidates must be able to travel domestically and internationally, requiring overnight stays. |
