| Job Description: |
The Chief Credit Officer is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing credit activities ensuring compliance with organizational policy and commercial credit laws. The CCO approves credits within an assigned credit authority and recommends credits exceeding authority as appropriate. Candidates for this position will have a proven track record of leading business development, reviewing existing portfolio credit, analyzes portfolio and industry trends, monitoring deteriorating and problem account trends and proposing action plans and recommending ALLL. Manages and recommends credit policies and procedures and has responsibility for monitoring the organization's credit risk exposure and provides guidance in portfolio review and strategy. Participates in committees for commercial and consumer credit portfolio management decisioning. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
At least 10 years of experience of management in credit and lending and a proven track record of successful business development. A comprehensive knowledge of commercial and consumer lending is a must. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
The preferred candidate will have at 15 or more years of experience supervising the credit operations of a community size bank as well as a proven track record of success in leading its business development operations. |
