| Job Description: |
Private equity infused manufacturer and distributor of health products has moved from the R&D into commercialization in 2008 and has a robust pipeline of new products to be released in 2011 and 2012. Company is performing ahead of plan and in near future plans are to expand customer base internationally. Leadership has come from larger competitors and plans are to double size in 2011. Be groomed to be CFO in 2011-2012. Role is both strategic and tactical. Report to CEO and be responsible for all accounting, finance, and general administrative affairs. Partner with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales/marketing. Inherit talented team and support the evolution of the business. Be viewed as a business resource and partner. An overview of responsibilities and contributions are as follows: • Lead all financial accounting and improve monthly closing processes. • Partner with R&D, Operations, Sales, & Supply Chain on business strategies, planning, process improvements and implementations of financial controls to support reporting, analysis, and GAAP compliance. • Provide vital financial information and metrics to executive management and Board of Directors • Actively support financial analysis needs for decision making with recognition of the demands of rapid growth (e.g. project payback, cash flow forecasts, selling expense trending). • Manage cash operations, serving as the primary contact to portfolio manager & commercial banking partner. • Document comprehensive policies and procedures, along with the related design and implementation of internal controls, to ready the Company for public company capabilities. • Contribute to business strategies that include new international locations, contract manufacturers, etc. • Manage and develop the team of accounting professionals; serve as the primary contact for Big 4 auditors. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
CPA required; ideal candidate was groomed by Big 8, has 15-25 years of total business experience, and is currently a VP of Finance or hands-on CFO in a technology driven manufacturer with R&D, sales, and supply chain operations (i.e. composites, energy, environmental products, medical devices, motion controls, optics, pharmaceutical, semiconductors, sensors, telecommunications). Must have SEC reporting experience. Must be willing to be hands-on and value adding in an entrepreneurial setting. |
