This position does require travel as it supports our locations in Arizona, Tennessee, Indiana, and Kentucky. I would estimate travel to be in the 40 – 50% range. Attributes that are most important to me: manufacturing experience, controller experience (this position works with our plant controllers, so having that background is helpful in building credibility with the team), someone who has worked closely with operations (inventory control, cost accounting, cycle counting). This position is very hands on – not so much doing journal entries and other financial tasks, more about being a business partner that helps the operational managers understand the financial impact of their decisions. 7-12 years of experience |
