They are looking for an individual to build, manage, and lead the Mortgage Underwriting team that will be vital to continued growth. The primary responsibilities are: -Train and develop staff of mortgage underwriters and processors -Manage pipeline of loans and create procedures designed to meet necessary turn times -Hire additional underwriters that match the criteria set forth for new positions as the department grows Requirements: -Direct Endorsement (DE) to underwrite all government (FHA, VA) loans -Prior management experience in mortgage lending or underwriting |
