11467 Employee Benefits Administrator Job

Location: ME-Portland  
Northeast (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI & VT)
Salary Range: 65,000 - 75,000
Total Compensation: 70,000 - 80,000
Job Description: The U.S. Retirement Benefits Team within HR is responsible for the development of plan design, plan administration, vendor management, oversight and governance for retirement savings plans. Job Description/Accountabilities: The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of all retirement governance documentation for U.S. plans, related management and oversight reporting and compliance, and coordination of all plan communications and related disclosures. Key accountabilities of this role will include: Development of governance presentation materials for quarterly U.S. Retirement Committee and Retirement Investment Committee meetings Development of agendas and related U.S. content with assistance from the U.S. Retirement Benefits Manager and the Manager of Retirement Plan Governance and Compliance. Development and maintenance of a governance and compliance deliverables database and related project management of deliverables Work with internal partners and legal counsel to ensure all governance and plan documentation and regulatory filings meet delivery timelines and legislative and legal requirements Work with internal and external partners to prepare and deliver all participant communications, including required disclosures, enrollment materials, and intranet content Oversee compliance protocols for the team and work with internal and external partners to ensure compliance certifications and vendor assessments are in place and completed timely Preparation of all management reporting of financial and behavioral trends, as required, including documentation of any decisions requiring administrative discretion Oversee storage and archiving of all governance materials for reference in annual plan audits Keep abreast of legislative developments, case law, industry trends, and competitor practices, and develop educational materials as appropriate for the team and plan fiduciaries Oversight and maintenance of plan contracts and service level agreements with all internal and external partners, as appropriate Qualifications/Competencies: Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 year's related work experience preferred Experience with retirement benefits, legal documentation, compliance, and audit a plus Well-organized, detail-oriented, strong planning/project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Ability to multi-task and juggle several projects as the same time Ability to adapt quickly and adjust priorities Results-focused, committed to meeting deadlines and getting things done Ability to work effectively as part of a team Solid working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and quick aptitude for new system applications generally
