Our client is one of the fastest growing medical servicing organizations in New England. This dynamic company was formed in 1995 through the merger of seven internal medical practices. They currently have 90+ physicians and operate 18 facilities throughout the State of Rhode Island. Due to their continued growth, our client has engaged KLR Executive Search Group to recruit for a Chief Financial Officer. Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer will lead and support the accounting, finance and billing functions. He/She will plan, organize and direct all aspects of the financial department including the development/administration of accounting, billing & financial policies, and oversees the budgeting, accounting, auditing, billing and claims processing functions. Job Responsibilities * Interact with corporate and clinic management in developing the strategic plan and its financial components * Develop and prepare annual budget that aligns resources with the strategic plan * Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze, prepare, and present monthly financial statements to management, owners and the Board. * Review departmental financial statements with administrators; provide assistance and present information at meetings as requested. * Monitor departmental budgetary performance and internal controls. * Oversee reconciliation of bank statements & revenue reconciliation * Develop accounting policies and procedures * Provide support to the Finance Committee Maintain close working relationship with outside accounting firm regarding policies and procedures, annual audits, tax filings and changes in accounting policies. * Maintain close working relationship with bank regarding cash management, account maintenance and debt financing arrangements. * Prepares ad-hoc financial analysis * Contribute to Operations Team discussions and work. * Promote positive customer service skills with both internal and external customers. * Select, orient, develop, manage and evaluate departmental personnel. * Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
* BS in Accounting and/or Finance or related field. * MA in Finance and/or CPA designation preferred * 10+ years experience, 5 of which should include fiscal management in the healthcare * Strong experience in the health care industry (be it hospitals, physician practices, etc. * Specifically physician groups or hospitals. * Knowledge of the principles of strategic financial management sufficient to manage staff and fiscal requirements of the position. * Knowledge of governmental and health care fiscal regulations and reporting requirements * Knowledge of computer and accounting systems programs and applications * Ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively. * Ability to work well independently, with others and in teams. * Ability to lead people and get results through others. * Ability to delegate responsibility and authority to staff * Skill in evaluating operations as they relate to policies, goals and objectives, costs and rate levels * Skilled in the use of technology. * Skilled communicator both orally and in writing. |
