Total Comp is 300-500K depending on the candidate. Beyond 200K the comp is paid out in any combination of cash and stock but usually very heavily weighted towards cash. |
| Position Responsibilities: |
This position is responsible for overseeing a variety of accounting policy projects in a fast-paced, fluid environment. Additionally, this individual will function as a help-line to both the front and back office.
Principal Responsibilities:
Primarily relate to financial instument accounting issues.
Evaluate new acquisitions, structured trades, and other transactions to determine appropriate accounting.
Respond to ad hoc inquiries regarding accounting requirements for client and company transactions.
Implement new accounting standards.
Track new external accounting proposals (i.e. FASB) to determine necessary responses and draft response letters.
Document standards internally in a user-friendly format.

Bachelors, CPA |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
The individual will be an extremely smart, highly ethical and skilled accountant who has strong technical skills and is highly responsive to requests . Must have strong knowedge of SFAS 133, 140, Fin 46, EITF 02-03, etc. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Ideally will be a very Senior Manager or a Jr. Partner at a Big 4 firm or come from a similar function at a competitor |
