| Position Responsibilities: |
This position has responsibility for planning, managing and directing the financial reporting activities for the entire organization. It will act as the full-responsibility manager of the annual external audit engagement of the financial statements for the organization. In addition, he/she will design and validate the process and entries for adjusting the appropriation-based general ledger to GAAP-based statements. He/She will understand and manage the full audit process, documentation, issues, timelines and resource requirements. |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA strongly preferred |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
- A minimum of five - ten years experience, including audit experience in a major certified public accounting firm. Must have had responsibility for the SEC reporting requirements in a publicly traded company headquarters. |
