| Position Responsibilities: |
Ranked in the TOP 10 for “quality of life” and “diversity”, by a national survey, our client company has an immediate opening for a degreed or equivalently work qualified individual with 5 – 7+ years individual & fiduciary tax preparation experience. Federal & State returns are complex, offering an excellent opportunity to build and hone skills while gathering and analying information needed to determine the lowest lawful tax burden. The incumbent prepares other related returns and tax information and performs calculations to assist with strategic tax planning.
1. Prepares and files complex federal and state individual and fiduciary income tax returns.
2. Prepares and files returns for non-profit organizations, quarterly employment tax returns (household employees), non-resident alien trust beneficiaries, etc.
3. Prepares and files federal gift tax returns and performs gift tax planning projections.
4. Performs federal and state income tax projections to assist with strategic tax planning.
5. Analyzes trusts and other documents to determine tax return requirements.
6. Provides consultative and interpretative support on tax and technical matters.
7. Performs tax cost research for assets in trust.
8. Confers and assists with formulation and drafting of appropriate policies and procedures.
9. Assigns work to Income Tax Accountants and provide instruction and guidance.
10. Creates training initiatives for skill maintenance and enhancement.

Bachelors, None required |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
1) Bachelor's degree or experience in equivalent business-related discipline.
2) 5 - 7 years experience preparing sophisticated individual and fiduciary income tax returns with at least 3 - 5 years direct fiduciary tax experience within a law firm or bank trust department.
3) Familiarity with computerized tax preparation software systems.
