SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT
Our client, a progressive manufacturing company, is currently searching for a motivated Senior Cost Accountant. Company provides its employees a team oriented environment and a progressive business culture. Excellent growth potential!!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare inventory and cost accounting activities
- Variance analysis and account reconciliations
- Perform monthly journal entries and checking supporting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Develop and analyze manufacturing budgets
- Physical Inventories
- Special projects as assigned by management

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CMA preferred |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
- BS in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Excel, Access and Word
- Working knowledge with integrated ERP systems a plus (SAP)
- Extensive accounting and financial analysis skills
