Position Responsibilities: Our client is a seasoned and well performing financial services firm that is on the lending edge of a significant growth curve. We have been exclusively engaged by this client to source and present highly qualified professionals for the position of Corporate Recruiter. We are looking to hire at least three individuals in this capacity in various parts of the country. Preferred locations include Tampa, Boca Raton, Wall Street, Long Island, Eatontown, NJ and Chicago. This is an opportunity to make a key contribution to the continued growth and success of a successful and growing independent broker-dealer. Additionally, given the diverse activities of this firm, there is the potential for significant career advancement. The position, which reports to the Chief Administrative Officer of the firm, does not require relocation. The individual(s) selected for this position will have the ability to work from home or an existing corporate office and some travel are required. They will be provided with all necessary tools to achieve success such as: a laptop computer, Blackberry/cell phone, proven marketing programs, the best database available in the industry, and expese budgets necessary to recruit high tier producers. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Actively recruit new registered representatives and offices to the firm in accordance with company goals, assist as requested in developing new recruiting brochures, ad matrials, and ad programs, grow and maintain an up-to-date database through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and other means, conduct pre-hire due diligence, verify production statistics of registered representatives that are recruited, assist newly recruited reps in smoothly transitioning into the firm.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, Series 7, 65 preferred
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Key Candidate Requirements: minimum of 2 years of recruiting or securities wholesailing experiance is preferred, experience with an independent broker-dealer is a plus, retail sales experience in the financial services is a plus, excellent communication and influencing skills, proven relationship management skills, strong knowledge of industry products and services, effective prospecting, networking, and business development skills, Series 7 and 65 licenses preferred, Bachelor's degree in a business related field is a strong plus, but not required.
