| Position Responsibilities: |
Global professional services firm seeks a Financial Due Diligence Manager for its fast-growing San Francisco office. CPA with Big 4 Transaction Services experience required. Compensation includes competitive base salary + bonus. Position requires 30% travel, mostly out-of-state.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of core financial due diligence, identifying key risks and potential deal breakers, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the business against industry benchmarks, and evaluating the potential transaction in the context of their clients’ investment strategy.
- Lead/participate in meetings and conference calls with the executive management team of the target company.
- Identify and understand the drivers behind maintainable profits and cash flows.
- Assess the quality of the target company's reported earnings, net assets and cash flows.
- Responsible for the construction of deal oriented reports and presentations for clients, which highlight the key financial, commercial and other deal issues affecting their investment decision.
- Articulate how findings should be incorporated into the client’s valuation model and sale / purchase agreement, and provide other negotiating points.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with client personnel, and serve as the primary point of contact for the client with respect to day-to-day execution matters.
- Responsible for designing tailored due diligence procedures for new assignments, including the formulation of a budget.
- Assist with building / maintaining client relationships and the pursuit of potential clients.
- Evaluate, counsel, mentor and provide feedback on performance of associates and senior associates

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of business experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in transaction advisory or due diligence groups.
The successful candidate will be success driven and self-motivated, and will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. The individual will be a critical thinker who is insightful, decisive, and strategic. Further, the individual will be able to work well on teams and will possess the knowledge and maturity to work with our clients independently. Specific characteristics include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong project management and accounting skills
- Ability to conduct verbal presentations to "C" level executives
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Highly analytical mind-set
- Team oriented personality
- Professional in style and demeanor / exercises good judgment
- Motivated and effective in a fast paced culture
- High level of proficiency in financial modeling and presentation / report generation
