Job 8109: Regional Business/Commercial Banker

Location: NC  
Southeast (AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC & TN)
Salary Range: 85,000-100,000
Bonus & Incentives:
Position Responsibilities: This position will cover a multi county area for the bank. The successful candidate will assume personal responsibility for meeting and exceeding all performance objectives related to sales, referrals, and customer acquisition, and will effectively utilize corporate resources to meet stated goals and objectives. The Regional Business Banker will: Aggressively market financial solutions with a goal of winning new clients and expanding existing relationships. Conduct relationship reviews with business and affluent customers and prospects, and identify, sell or refer appropriate financial solutions including credit products, deposit products, wealth products and services, investment products, trust services, insurance services, and financial planning. Develop prospects by making consultative sales calls, qualifying prospects, and converting prospects to clients. Develop and maintain effective referral sources. Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all relevant Bank products and services and approval and set-up processes. Coordinate with Credit Administration to support the quality, profitability, and managed risk exposure of the loan portfolio. Aid in strategically assessing the risk profile of relationships and help define risk management guidelines and relationship plans accordingly. Participate in community development activities that materially contribute to business development efforts. Partner with other Bank employees within the market to ensure a uniform, consistent, and effective approach to community involvement.. Represent other areas of the bank to the customer. Effectively introduce product and service experts to the client when appropriate and facilitate the resulting sales process. Achieve customer service ratings that reflect excellent customer satisfaction levels.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, None needed
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 7 years banking industry experience, specifically in the areas of business, commercial, or corporate lending; and sales experience in the financial services industry. Proven and verifiable track record of sales success required.
Preferred Qualifications: Currently lives in, has lived in, or has ties to the market; active in civic or community groups in the North Carolina.
