| Position Responsibilities: |
Sources and develops new business for the bank targeting prospects that generate $10 million or less in revenue. The business development efforts are focused on the prospects that fit the profile for the banks Core Banking Offices with credit needs of up to $1MM. Builds and maintains a base of prospects, referral sources and new clients through an active calling program, developing sales strategies which promote solutions and add value to the prospects identified needs and maximizing networking opportunities. Works independently but may be accompanied by a Senior Business Development Officer, Relationship Manager or Branch Manager in closing and finalizing deals based on proper segmentation. |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• *3 years of sales and marketing experience in a banking environment.
• Requires a working knowledge of Bank asset and liability products.
• Requires a general understanding of banking services and products.
• General understanding of the commercial credit underwriting process.
• Requires a general knowledge of underwriting standards and credit analysis for the small business prospect.
Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
