| Position Responsibilities: |
Premier Advertising Conglomerate seeks a Snr. Tax Planner. This position is an Assistant Director/Director level position reporting to the head of Global Planning. The candidate will have regional responsibilities for foreign tax planning matters for the firm. Job Responsibilities: The proactive exploration and development of an implementation strategy for planning opportunities; The analysis, and handling, of issues that may arise either pursuant to an audit by foreign taxing jurisdictions or otherwise; The oversight of compliance obligations, transfer pricing, etc. The analysis of the impact on the company and its agencies of all significant pending and newly implemented legislation and court holdings; The establishment and nurturing of relationships with agency finance personnel at global headquarters, regional headquarters, and the local affiliates in order to ensure open and timely communications regarding any transaction that may have tax consequences; The development and nurturing of relationships with outside professional experts in order to ensure that company has access to world class advice in connection with any matters having tax consequences. To assist as necessary in the implementation and planning phases of special projects such the legal entity simplification project. Key personnel with whom this position will interact: This position will interact with all levels of management within the firm as well as the agencies. It will also interact with all tax advisors and the company’s auditors. |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Masters, CPA, JD, MBA, MS |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Graduate level degree (J.D. /LLM, M.B.A., M.S.) – tax emphasis preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in accounting preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• U.S. and International and possibly foreign tax expertise.
• 6-10 years experience. |
