OPPORTUNITY: As part of this publicly traded leader, learn about international business, global supply chain, lean manufacturing, ERP systems, demand forecasting, Sarbanes Oxley and business logistics. Be groomed for leadership role. Report to the Audit Director and play center stage role within multi-location manufacturer and distributor that serves global commercial and industrial markets. Be responsible for all North American and European audit (operational, financial and IT) related functions including relationships with Big 4 auditors. Key on the following projects:
• Inventory is cash; participate on initiatives to lower inventory levels through partnering with vendors, customers and SBUs. Administer cycle counting.
• Business metrics; team on development of methodologies to improve business information and identify opportunities for improvement; analyze business unit performance
• Rationalization studies; evaluate business processes and operations
• Participate on acquisition probes and opportunities.
• Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Special projects assigned by executive team or Board of Directors.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
REQUIREMENTS: BS required. CPA or CIA wanted. 3+ years of any of the following: CPA audit; manufacturing accounting; manufacturing audit; Sarbanes Oxley experience in a manufacturing setting; SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards experience. Plus is experience with ERP systems. Travel to domestic and international locations. Some of domestic sites are drivable. Must have audit management experience from planning through final write-up. Must have manufacturing and/or distribution audit experience. Sarbanes-Oxley experience is a decided plus. Hands-on, self-directed leader sought. Must have a history of effectively partnering with internal and external customers. Must be willing to travel. |
