| Position Responsibilities: |
Our client is one of the nation’s leading companies in the rapidly growing life settlement industry. The company has taken the life settlement industry by storm, using a leading-edge software system that eliminates paperwork, streamlines much of the settlement process, and reduces the cost per transaction. The company is also a member of the Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA) and other insurance industry trade associations. Turning Point has been retained by this client to identify and recruit talented sales professionals for the position of Regional Vice President – Southeast. This region consists of Florida, Georgia, and North and South Carolina. The successful candidate must already reside within this region, but candidates currently living in the Tampa or Orlando areas of Florida would be preferred.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Southeast Regional Vice President will be responsible for developing relationships with large life insurance producers and agencies, CFPs, Registered Investment Advisors, broker dealer registered representatives, CPAs, CLUs, Independent Marketing Organizations, Estate Planners, and General Agencies. This is a newly created position that will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales in the client’s corporate home office.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Providing expertise and support in the field to build the firm’s life settlements brokerage business.
· Maximizing production within the region.
· Meet or exceed agreed upon production levels in the region.
· Meet or exceed agreed upon number of producer meetings in the region.
· Meet or exceed agreed upon number of CE classes conducted.
· Establish and maintain relationships with broker dealer home offices located within the territory.
· Attending conferences and trade shows including public speaking appearances.
· Responsible for proper usage of a travel and entertainment budget.
· Keep the firm’s leadership team informed of producer needs and changes in the marketplace.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
· Financial Services professional with experience in the area of wholesaling/sales of mutual funds, life insurance products, and/or retirement planning services.
· Individual should have an established contact list in the region.
· Ability to travel throughout the region as needed.
· Life insurance and viatical licenses (Candidates who do not have the viatical license, will be required to obtain it within 90 days of hire).
· Securities licenses (not required but preferred).
· Bachelor’s degree.
· CFP, CLU, or ChFC designations preferred.
