Job 8290: National Banking Sr. Relationship Manager

Location: NE-Omaha  
Lower Midwest (IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MO, NE & OH)
Salary Range: 100,000-120,000
Bonus & Incentives: 30% of base is the typical target
Position Responsibilities: Responsible for contributing to unit’s growth and profitability with extensive focus on business development activities. Develops and retains business relationships by meeting the financial services needs of commercial businesses. Develops loans, depository accounts and other fee generating services. Manages a portfolio of 15 or more commercial banking relationships. May act as team leader for other relationship managers, associates and support staff. Generally targets companies with sales of $50 million or higher. May specialize in specific industries and/or markets
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in heavy prospect business development and customer cross sell marketing. • Thorough knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation including accounting, financial statement and cash flow analysis. • Thorough knowledge of financial services used by Middle Market customers. • Demonstrated experience in portfolio management and quality control. • Geographic market knowledge preferable. • May require knowledge of specific industry and/or market.
Preferred Qualifications: Middle market lending and credit analysis experience in the greater Omaha market
Additional Comments: Supports unit’s growth and profitability through effective development of new business. Allocates 75% of time to effective calling activities on existing and potential customers and identifying business needs and corresponding sales opportunities bankwide. Manages a portfolio of 15 or more commercial banking relationships providing consultative advice and products and services to meet customer’s needs and enhance and expand banking relationships. Works closely with Cash Management, Treasury, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Equipment Leasing, Trade Finance, and other major areas of the bank to promote the sale and implementation of complex financial products and services. Performs other duties as assigned.
