Job 8324: Vice President - Wealth Manager - Eastern Shore of Maryland

Location: MD-Other   Easton - Some flexibility exists.
Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA & WV)
Salary Range: 85,000 - 90,000 DOE + incentive compensation.
Bonus & Incentives: Payout ranges 5% - 45% on a sliding fee scale based on first year recurring fees generated. There is no cap.
Position Responsibilities: THE FOCUS OF THIS POSITION IS SALES & SERVICE ON THE EASTERN SHORE OF MARYLAND. RESPONSIBILITIES include marketing, selling and distributing investment management, trust, private banking, brokerage and other financial services to high net worth individuals. The wealth manager will also coordinate relationship servicing once the prospective client becomes a valued customer. PRIMARY DUTIES: 1) Consistently develop a high level of profitable new business by marketing and selling a full range of financial products and services to high net worth individuals. 2) Ensure superior client satisfaction and client loyalty by proactively managing relationships. 3) Stays informed about investment, fiduciary, brokerage, banking and other financial services offered by the firm and its competitors. 4) Functions as a subject matter resource regarding income and estate tax laws, estate planning issues and laws governing fiduciaries. 5) Actively develops and maintains informal and external referral sources.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, FINRA Serices 7 license
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: 1) Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Finance or equivalent in work experience. 2) MBA, JD, CFP or similar designation preferred. 3) 5 to 7 years in financial services preferred. 4) Series 7 license. 5) Familiarity with bond, equity and commingled funds as they relate to high net worth private investors.
Preferred Qualifications: MBA, JD, CFP or similar designation preferred.
Additional Comments: Candidate should have business ties to the Eastern Shore, including viable centers of influence able to refer new business leads. Candidate must have demonstrated new business track record and a solid reputation as a trusted advisor to high net worth clients.
