$135,000 - $150,000 DOE plus bonus opportunity. |

PRIMARY FOCUS: PRIMARY FOCUS: The consulting actuary drives business relationships through continual interaction with assigned clients to help them anticipate problems and by creating and implementing creative solutions in a timely and cost effective manner. The consulting actuary is an active business partner with each client focused on providing independent counsel to ensure the best result.
DUTIES: 1) Financial management of client relationships, 2) Provides consulting services to a select group of clients, 3) Manages large client projects while working with other experienced consultants, 4) Interacts with clients on a daily basis and makes in-person presentations, and 5) Assists in training and development of staff.

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, Enrolled Actuary, ASA or FSA a plus |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
1) Knowledge of and experience with all aspects of Defined Benefit plans including funding requirements and FAS 87 accounting,
2) Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills,
3) Financial management knowledge and experience,
4) Demonstrated ability to work in and lead project teams ,
5) Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills,
6) High degree of self-motivation,

| Preferred Qualifications: |
1) Enrolled Actuary designation; ASA or FSA a plus
2) Multi-employer, FAS 106, or GASB 45 experience a plus
