| Position Responsibilities: |
SBR, Inc., Nashville’s largest retained search firm (Nashville Business Journal, 2004-2007) is conducting a search for seasoned finance professionals. This is an excellent alternative career path for very analytical individuals with the desire to move into a highly visible role with a multi-billion dollar Nashville based company. The Sr. Analyst (Buyer) will use strong financial, forecasting and analytical skills to develop and implement purchasing strategies for assigned categories and become the company expert within their assigned category. Strong communication and negotiation skills are critical in managing vendor relationships and ensuring the company is supplied with the best products and/or services at the best possible cost. The Analyst must conduct detailed cost analysis and monitor market fluctuations of commodity items and communicate findings with Sr. Management while interfacing with the executive team, corporate finance, marketing and field operations. This role will have a significant and direct line items impact on the company’s profitability. |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree & 3+ years of experience with any of the following: finance, accounting, purchasing(with a large public company) or supply and/or sourcing management. Strong communication and negotiation skills. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
MBA or CPM with 3+ years experience as a financial analyst or buyer with a large publicly traded company managing multi-million dollar categories. |
