Location: NV-Las Vegas  
Rocky Mountains (CO, ID, MT, NV, UT & WY)
Salary Range: 120,000
Bonus & Incentives: 25% bonus
Position Responsibilities: Position Title: Senior Vice President/Director, Collections Reports To: Executive Vice President Our client is one of America’s fastest growing issuers of Visa and MasterCard credit cards. They provide their consumer credit products to individuals who have been historically overlooked by other financial services companies. This position is responsible for the overall strategic planning and performance, production and coordination of In-bound and Out-bound Collections and Special Asset Unit and Outsourcing. This position requires significant senior leadership experience in Credit Card Collections and Customer Service. Management responsibilities will be for both internal and agency outsourced accounts. The pace of growth is fast and the ability to work with an analytical approach to the business is a must. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for strategic planning and performance for a fast growing organization. • Develop, implement and assure achievement of each goal and objective set for In-bound and Out-bound Collections, the Special Asset Unit and Outsourcing. • Liaison with the Risk Management Team to develop and deploy appropriate collection strategies for a portfolio that exceeds one billion dollars. • Implement all In-bound and Out-bound Collections, Special Asset Unit and Outsourcing policies and procedures to achieve desired service levels and to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Visa and MasterCard Requirements. • Develop and manage departmental budget. • Responsible for correlating outside Collection Services. • Oversee and regulate all staffing changes within the department. • Daily review of all relevant MIS reports in order to determine and advise direction of the department for short and long-term effects. • Perform employee reviews for direct reports.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Four-year degree in business, finance, communications or related subjects. Over 10 years of credit and collection experience. 3-5 years of senior level management experience. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sub-prime portfolios and collection agencies is a plus.
