| Position Responsibilities: |
Global professional services firm seeks a Managing Director for its fast-growing Transaction Advisory Group in San Francisco. CPA with Big 4 Transaction Services and business development experience required.
Responsibilities will include:
• Oversee the management of financial due diligence engagements, proactively identifying key deal issues and establishing team and engagement priorities.
• Create and implement strategies to address risk areas identified during the diligence process.
• Lead the team in interactions with the executive management team of the target company and client personnel.
• Oversee the construction of deal oriented reports and presentations for clients, which highlight the key financial, commercial and other deal issues affecting their investment decision.
• Articulate how findings should be incorporated into the client’s valuation model and sale / purchase agreement, and provide other negotiating points.
• Identify and understand the drivers behind maintainable profits and cash flows.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client personnel with respect to day-to-day execution matters.
• Coordinate and communicate with other A&M and external due diligence teams (operational, tax, legal, insurance, etc.), as necessary, to ensure incorporation of relevant findings into financial due diligence reports.
• Actively participate in fostering client relationships and the pursuit of potential clients.
• Evaluate, counsel, mentor and provide feedback on the performance of others.

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA required |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
• CPA certification
• The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of business experience at a large public accounting firm, with a minimum 5 years of experience in transaction advisory or due diligence groups.
• The successful candidate will be success driven and self-motivated, and will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. The individual will be a critical thinker who is insightful, decisive, and strategic. Further, the individual will be able to work well on teams and will possess ample knowledge and experience to work with our clients independently. Specific characteristics include:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong project management and accounting skills
• Ability to support verbal presentations to "C" level executives
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
• Highly analytical mind-set
• Team oriented personality
• Professional in style and demeanor / exercises good judgment

• High level of proficiency in, and ability to oversee, financial modeling and presentation/report generation
