| Position Responsibilities: |
Position: Marketing Consultant IV
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Incumbent will work closely as a business-to-business consultant to develop marketing strategies across multiple divisions. Review and modification of existing products in addition to the development of new products may be necessary to maximize profitability. Incumbent will work with highly complex products to support the achievement of sales goals and business line objectives. The position requires close working collaboration with line management, other marketing partners and management throughout the corporation.
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Develop and execute marketing programs for products which have large average deal size and sales cycles up to one year. This includes all activities from concept to completion such as: sales tools, customer communication, seminars, core presentation materials, direct mail, telemarketing or advertising.
2. Support a variety of business and commercial industries in the strategic planning process. This will entail assessing market opportunities and evaluating business cases for new channels of delivery such as third party or intermediary.
3. Assess new product opportunities and provide analyses and recommendations for product development, pricing and promotion.
4. Develop relationships with sales leaders (CFO's, Presidents, or owners) in order to be able to incorporate front-line input into product and marketing decisions, as well as to articulate product philosophy, pricing and positioning.
5. Reviews new developments in the financial market to evaluate potential products and recommends the development of new or modification of existing products.
6. Develop and manage the annual marketing budget for all business line products and services.
7. Oversee the production of quarterly investment performance information, prospectuses and annual reports.
8. Evaluate customer and industry data as input to product evaluation and development activities.
9. Manage a process of competitive analysis and advise management of risks and opportunities in key markets.
10. Consult with wholesaler to support the development of effective product educational, sales and promotion plans. Develop and implement product sales tools, advertising, merchandising, telemarketing and direct mail/lead generation programs.
11. Participate in new market initiatives, providing product strategy and marketing project development and implementation.
12. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

6-7 years professional work experience in related field
