Our client, a publicly traded service/distribution company seeks an energetic Supervisor/Manager of Credit & Collections. OPPORTUNITY: Report to Bohan & Bradstreet placement. Great mentor and leader. Hire, build and manage a team of 5+ in the areas of collections. Strategize to establish and/or enhance processes, systems and controls that will provide better and timelier reporting, analysis, and forecasting. Communicate directly across all business segments to accomplish daily and long term objectives. Direct all collection issues ensure accuracy of standard billing rates. Prepare statistical reports regarding collections/customer information. Record journal entries and analysis reports. Ensure compliance to best practices. Supervises inbound/outbound collection activities and review of customer accounts. Effectively plans, coordinates, develops, follows-up, and controls activities pertaining to the collection of delinquent accounts. Lead staff to ensure high level customer service. Focus on process improvement due to changing business environment. Develop and improve work methods and procedures. Leads change with the vision of maximizing management systems and measurements. Manage customer accounts from start to finish. Collaborate with Field Supervisors to maximize field collection activities. Gain and maintain knowledge of contract obligations and company labor policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS wanted. Seek 4+ years of collections experience within a business that has over $250 million in revenues. Must have a proven history of hiring, motivating and supervising staff. Pluses hands on experience with JDEdwards, Oracle or SAP software. Exposure to working with union employees is a plus. Knowledge of general accounting practices and regulatory requirements is desirable. Previous supervisory experience is required and call center management experience is preferred. |
