| Position Responsibilities: |
Major commercial bank located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Accountant to join the Corporate Controller’s Group. This is a VP level position with great visibility within the group and exposure to complex technical accounting issues related to financial services. Position will report to the SEC Reporting Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare year-end financial information for the 10-K & Annual Report
• Prepare quarter-end financial information for the 10-Q & Press Release
• Prepare monthly financial package for the Directors and executive management
• Research and implement new accounting pronouncements and complex accounting issues
• Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting and research projects

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA preferred |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• 5+ years of experience, including public accounting audit of publicly-traded companies
• CPA license (or equivalent)
• BS/BA Degree in Accounting
• Financial services industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with SEC reporting procedures
• Excellent and effective writing skills essential
• Technical understanding of complex accounting issues
• Must be proficient in Excel and Word
• Must work effectively with other group members & staff from other areas of the bank
