| Position Responsibilities: |
1. Identify and analyze training needs in assigned areas and assist in the design of the annual training calendar.
2. Design assigned training programs and materials and assist junior training specialists with course design.
3. Deliver assigned training programs to managers and other employees.
4. Analyze sales and management development needs and evaluate effectiveness of different programs.
5. Assist in the development of product and training manuals for management and sales development programs.
6. Incorporate sales and service skills within the assigned training programs.
7. Provide advice and counsel to managers to resolve specific work problems.
8. Arrange assigned training schedules and maintain records of participation and cost.
9. Maintain contact with vendors and suppliers of training materials and assist in the evaluation of external programs.
10. Participate as an instructor in other training programs as required.
11. Develop contacts in other industries for training skills.
12. Perform other duties as assigned. |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
* Full four years of college or the equivalent in advanced education.
* Experience in training and development activities including design, delivery, and evaluation.
* Decision making and organizational skills necessary.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
* Excellent PC skills.
* Creative ability along with strong interpersonal skills

| Preferred Qualifications: |
* Six or more years experience in the retail industry preferred along with a general working knowledge of banking. |
